The UN Commission on Science and Technology (CSTD) is undertaking a ten year review of outcomes of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS).

The CSTD’s review will be a major input into the final WSIS ten year review which will be undertaken by the UN General Assembly in 2015, and is an important opportunity for all stakeholders in the ICT, Internet, ICT4D and development communities to contribute to that process.

An open consultation process for the CSTD review is now underway, in which contributions are being sought from all stakeholders between now and 31 August. Stakeholders can contribute via the online questionnaire or directly via email: cstd-wsis10@unctad.org

The CSTD encourages stakeholders to submit existing reports, publications and other documents of relevance as well as responding to the questionnaire.

In order to ensure the broadest amount of feedback from the Commonwealth, please share with others in your network to make them aware of the opportunity to contribute to the UN CSTD’s ten-year outcomes of the WSIS.
