Commonwealth ICT Ministers Forum 2016 – closed door meeting

Date: 14 June 2016
Venue: Marlborough House
Marlborough House, Pall Mall, London SW1Y 5HX

About the Venue

Marlborough House on Pall Mall in London is the Headquarters of the Commonwealth. Highly secure and well used to high profile gatherings of world leaders, the House is an ideal venue for private and constructive conversations. Sir Christopher Wren was commissioned to build Marlborough House for the first Duke of Marlborough, but it is to Duchess Sarah, that the building owes its existence. The Dukes of Marlborough occupied the house until 1817 when it became a Royal Residence.

In September 1959, Her Majesty The Queen placed the House at the disposal of the British Government and Marlborough House became headquarters of the Commonwealth in 1965.
