Overview
Participants learn the basics of data transmission. The technical concepts of IP versions 4 and 6 are explained as deeply as is necessary for a qualitative understanding of the possibilities different technologies offer. Importantly, the course also considers the likely success of different approaches to IP transport and the ongoing trend towards integrated multimedia IP networks.
