CTO launches 125th year with Digital Diplomacy Forum, fostering global dialogue.
The Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO) officially launched its 125th Anniversary year with the inaugural Commonwealth Digital Diplomacy Forum in London on 10 February.
Hosted in collaboration with the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), the high-level Forum convened over 50 High Commissioners, Ambassadors, senior diplomats, and global digital leaders for strategic dialogue on diplomacy in a hyper-connected world.
Discussions focused on multilateral digital governance, artificial intelligence, cyber resilience, digital standards, and digital public infrastructure as key drivers of national development and international cooperation. The event reaffirmed the CTO’s role as a trusted bridge between policy, innovation, and diplomacy — supporting Member States in shaping secure, inclusive, and resilient digital futures.
