Human Resources & ICT Forum 2021

Understanding the New Digital Normal: Fostering Organisational Readiness in the 21st Century

Date: 5 May 2021
Location: Online

The 2021 Forum focused on the challenges and opportunities presented by the COVID-19 pandemic on individuals and organisations in the work environment. The event considered the ICT trends for work and look to the future to determine the imperatives for human resource management and organisational readiness.

The COVID-19 pandemic is but one challenge facing the workforce. In an environment where private enterprises can wield more power than some governments; artificial intelligence and robotics are replacing workers; the Internet of things facilitates machine to machine interactions without human intervention, the very nature of work will change.

This Forum prepared HR practitioners to respond appropriately to these phenomenal changes and helped them develop a Roadmap for organisational readiness. With a focus on organisational culture, leadership, recruitment, talent management, employee wellbeing, employee engagement, and employee protection.
